The book was shipped quickly although I didn't pay extra. I purchased this for my son and was excited that I paid 1/3 the new price. This was great, since he only needs it one semester.
It's difficult to maintain an open book and follow the instructions while typing with that one. The other students enjoy the portability but it's not spiral. It has been very beneficial for my course and the instructions are easy to follow. It is too big to carry but I know they've made a smaller paperback one.
price wasn't that bad product was listed as good condition; received a copy with tape bound cover and very used look to it. couldnt wait any longer to send back so kept it anyway.

This book helped me understand Word better, but in particular, helped a lot in understanding Excel and Access, which I had never used before. The format was great for an online class I used this book in.
